Award-winning songwriter Hector Escamilla will write songs for Veronique’s upcoming sophomore album, AMI Records Latin announced on Tuesday.

“The story we will tell with the songs we’ve selected so far is beautiful and truly encompasses the vision Veronique has for the album,” AMI Records Latin said in a press release.
Escamilla has written for Tejano icons Shelly Lares, Ram Herrera, Laura Canales, Jay Perez and many more. Along with his writing credits at Sony, Capitol, and Tejas Records, Escamilla is also a two-time BMI Award Winner, and was inducted into the Tejano Music Hall of Fame in 2001 for his contributions to the industry.
AMI Records Latin and Veronique Unlimited LLC plan to release news of Veronique’s sophomore album, scheduled for a Spring 2016 release, every Tuesday.
