While speaking to Banda during backstage interviews at the biggest night in Tejano music, the recently engaged Banda said her debut album will be released before the end of 2015 with some guest collaborations.
“I’m having a few duets, but I can’t really say anything,” the 20-year-old singer told Tejano Nation.
The “Yo Te Dije” singer did a give a few hints to the artists, when pressed by Tejano Nation. “The initials are J.C. and T.F.,” she said.
A few moments later, TejanoNation spoke to Cura, who was nominated for Song Of The Year with David Lee Garza for “Toma Mi Corazoncito” at the 2015 TMAs. Cura will be releasing his album in February with music produced by Mario Ortiz. He also gave news of an upcoming duet.
“I have a new single coming out with miss Devin Banda,” Cura announced. “I think I spilled the beans…this is a perfect spot to announce it. It’s supposed to be released in mid-November.”
You heard it here first, the Banda and Cura duet is coming, and TejanoNation will have it for you as soon as it is released.
As for the “T.F.” artist Banda plans to duet with, we can only guess, but we’ll think about it while we head down to the tortilla factory for a snack.
