SAN ANTONIO – The first confirmed performers for the 2015 Tejano Music Awards were announced by the Texas Talent Musicians Association on Tuesday, and expect some great collaborations from the past and future of Tejano for the show.
Confirmed performers for the 35th edition of the Tejano Music Awards include Shelly Lares, La Mafia, Las Fenix, Ricky Valenz, Gary Hobbs, David Farias, Erick y Su Grupo Massore, Xelencia, La Fiebre, Ruben Ramos and a special tribute to the “Queen of Tejano Music”, Selena Quintanilla-Perez.
More performers, presenters and final nominations for the show, hosted by comedian Efrain “Happy” Guerrero, will be announced soon.
The Tejano Music Awards celebrates 35 years of being the major and longest running event of Tejano Music. The Tobin Center for the Performing Arts will be the stage where fans can expect a spectacular show that promises many surprises, exciting musical collaborations, and the recognition of Tejano’s best and brightest stars.
The 35th edition of the Tejano Music Awards takes place on October 24, 2015 at the H-E-B Performance Hall inside The Tobin Center, located at 100 Auditorium Circle in San Antonio. The red carpet is from 5:15 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. with the pre-show at 6:30 p.m. and the awards show begins at 7:00 p.m. Get more information at TejanoMusicAwards.com.
