Daughter of Stefani Montiel & Gabriel Zavala makes Spurs Silver Dancers team

Ileah Zavala, the daughter of award winning Tejano star Stefani Montiel and award winning hitmaker Gabriel Zavala, will be a member of the San Antonio Spurs Silver Dancers for a second straight season, after the team announced the finalists on Sunday.

The 2015-2016 Silver Dancers team was announced on Sunday at the Arneson River Theatre in San Antonio.

“She made it!!!!!! Congrats Ileah Zavala!!!!! Way to go Amor!!!!!!,” Gabriel Zavala posted on his official Facebook page along with a video of Ileah being announced to the team.

Stefani added her excitement. sharing Gabriel’s video on Facebook.

“ILEAH MADE IT!!!!! Thx everybody for the outpouring of support!!!!!!”

Ileah, who just turned 19 in June, was one of 16, out of 30 finalists, announced for the upcoming season to the Silver Dancers.  She was captain of the dance team for the San Antonio Talons, an Arena Football League team, at the age of 17.  She also became an official backup dancer for Stefani at the age of 16.

Tejano Nation congratulates Ileah, and proud parents Stefani and Gabriel, on her selection to the Silver Dancers. Go Spurs Go!
