‘Domingo Live’ to Celebrate the Belated Birthday of Tejano Icon Jimmy Gonzalez

This Sunday, Domingo Live will honor the belated birthday of the late Tejano legend Jimmy Gonzalez with a special episode featuring performances by none other than former Grupo Mazz member Cristina Salinas. Earlier this year, Salinas released a heartfelt tribute album dedicated to Jimmy G, making her performance a fitting homage to the beloved musician.

Jimmy Gonzalez co-founded Grupo Mazz in 1978 alongside Joe Lopez. The duo quickly rose to prominence, known for their innovative approach to Tejano music.
