The 46th Annual Tejano Music Awards is adding two major names to its live entertainment lineup, with Tejano icon Ram Herrera and Luis Ayala’s Fiebre joining the performers set to take the stage at this year’s ceremony.
Known as the “Biggest Night in Tejano Music,” the awards show is scheduled for Friday, November 13, 2026, at the Texas Rodeo Saloon in Katy, Texas, marking the second consecutive year the event will be held at the Houston-area venue.
Organized by the Texas Talent Musicians Association (TTMA), the Tejano Music Awards will bring together established performers and rising stars for a celebration of the music, artists and culture that have shaped the genre.
Herrera and Fiebre join the previously announced lineup featuring Jay Perez, Siggno, Gary Hobbs, Avizo and Jenny B, creating a bill that spans generations of Tejano talent.
Ram Herrera: A Lasting Voice in Tejano Music
With a career spanning more than four decades, Ram Herrera has established himself as one of Tejano music’s recognizable voices. Known for his powerful vocals, charismatic stage presence and enduring connection with audiences, the San Antonio-born singer has remained a fixture in the genre across generations.

Herrera is widely associated with fan favorites such as “Amor Y Besos” and a catalog that reflects his versatility as a performer. Throughout his career, he has garnered multiple Grammy and Latin Grammy nominations, and continued to explore new musical directions while maintaining his roots in the genre.
His career has also extended beyond traditional Tejano boundaries. Herrera recently recorded the bilingual country single “Just One Time” at Nashville’s Blackbird Studio, reflecting his interest in bringing his distinctive voice to a broader musical audience.
His addition to the 46th Annual Tejano Music Awards lineup brings a veteran performer with a long-standing connection to the genre and its fans back to one of Tejano music’s signature stages.
Luis Ayala’s Fiebre Adds to the Celebration
Luis Ayala’s Fiebre will also join the evening’s entertainment, bringing the group’s signature brass-driven sound to the 46th Annual Tejano Music Awards.

Ayala continues to lead his own lineup under the name Luis Ayala’s Fiebre, featuring longtime members who have helped shape the group’s sound and identity. Known for its energetic performances and prominent brass arrangements, Fiebre carries forward a musical style rooted in the tradition of Tejano dance music while maintaining its connection with longtime fans.
The group’s continued presence under Ayala’s leadership reflects an ongoing commitment to preserving the sound and musical chemistry that audiences have come to associate with Fiebre.
With Fiebre joining Ram Herrera, Jay Perez, Siggno, Gary Hobbs, Avizo and Jenny B, this year’s entertainment lineup brings together established Tejano performers and artists representing the genre’s continuing evolution.
46th Tejano Music Awards Set for November 13
The ceremony will take place at the Texas Rodeo Saloon in Katy, where the TTMA will once again host its annual celebration of Tejano music.
Established in 1980 by the Texas Talent Musicians Association, the Tejano Music Awards were created to provide artists with a dedicated platform to recognize their accomplishments and contributions to the genre. Over more than four decades, the ceremony has grown into an annual gathering celebrating the performers, musicians and industry figures who have helped shape Tejano music and its culture.
For much of its history, the awards were based in San Antonio, widely recognized as the “Tejano Music Capital of the World.” Over the years, the ceremony was held at prominent venues, including the Henry B. González Convention Center, the Alamodome and the Tobin Center.
In 2025, the TTMA moved the main awards presentation from San Antonio to the Houston area, citing financial viability as a primary factor behind the change. The 45th Annual Tejano Music Awards marked the first year at the Texas Rodeo Saloon in Katy, with the organization returning to the venue for the 46th annual ceremony.
Final nominees are expected to be announced online soon.
