SAN ANTONIO, Texas — The Totally Tejano Hall of Fame and Museum is keeping the celebration of Tejano music going into the fall with a new weekly concert series and another round of exhibit inductions honoring influential figures from the genre.
The museum has announced Totally Tejano Pachangas at the Plaza, a new Sunday concert series beginning September 6, 2026, at Gran Plaza Guadalupe, 1326 Guadalupe Street in San Antonio, Texas.
The series will bring live Tejano music and the community together in the heart of San Antonio, with a complete artist lineup expected to be revealed soon.
The announcement adds another dimension to the museum’s growing efforts to celebrate Tejano culture beyond its permanent exhibits, giving fans an opportunity to experience live music while connecting with the artists and history represented inside the museum.
September Exhibit Inductions Continue
The Totally Tejano Hall of Fame and Museum will also continue its exhibit induction program in September with George Rivas (September 1) and Oscar G. (September 15) following a summer that saw the museum honor Tejano icons Ram Herrera, Shelly Lares, Jay Perez and Stefani Montiel with permanent exhibits.
A Growing Tejano Destination in San Antonio
The Totally Tejano Hall of Fame and Museum is San Antonio’s first permanent museum dedicated exclusively to celebrating, preserving and educating the public about Tejano, Conjunto and Mexican American music.
Officially opened in December 2025, the 5,000-square-foot cultural destination was founded by Roger Hernandez, president of En Caliente Productions. The museum offers visitors an immersive look at the evolution of the Texas-born sound and the artists, musicians and industry figures who helped shape it.
A unique part of the museum’s operation is its connection with KLMO Tejano 98.9 & 92.1 FM. The radio station shares office space with the museum and frequently broadcasts live from inside the museum gallery, allowing visitors to see radio programs in progress and encounter local DJs and visiting Tejano artists.
The museum is located at 1414 Fredericksburg Road, San Antonio, Texas 78201, on the city’s West Side.
It is open Tuesday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and is closed Mondays. Admission is free, although donations are encouraged to help support the museum’s 501(c)(3) nonprofit operations.
With the launch of Totally Tejano Pachangas at the Plaza and the September exhibit inductions of George Rivas and Oscar G., the museum continues expanding its role as a home for Tejano music’s past, present and future.
