Laura Linda Named Top 5 Finalist for 2026 Texas Country Music Awards

DALLAS, TEXAS — Award-winning Texas-born artist Laura Linda has been named one of the Top 5 finalists for Tejano Artist or Band of the Year at the 2026 Texas Country Music Awards, presented by the Texas Country Music Association (TCMA).

With final voting underway, Laura Linda is competing alongside Johnny y Los Texas Plowboys, Sunny Sauceda, Tejas Brothers, and Tex Mex Hippies for the honor.

Fans can cast their votes through Saturday, August 15, 2026, and voters do not have to complete every category on the ballot to support Laura Linda.

A Career Built Across Texas Music

Known for bridging Country, Tejano, and Regional Mexican music, Laura Linda has built a career that reflects the diverse musical traditions of her Texas roots.

Before making her mark in Tejano and Regional Mexican music, Laura Linda toured with major country artists including Tim McGraw, Mark Chesnutt, Restless Heart, and Pam Tillis.

She returned to the stage in a major way in 2019, scoring chart-topping Tejano hits before expanding into Regional Mexican music. Her 2023 release “Ni Un Tequila” further showcased her versatility as an artist capable of moving comfortably between musical genres.

Laura Linda has also found success in Country music, including the popular single “Honey Boy Honey Girl,” which has surpassed half a million views on YouTube.

The winners will be announced during the 2026 Texas Country Music Awards on November 8, 2026, at Billy Bob’s Texas in the Fort Worth Stockyards.

Tickets for the awards show became available July 8 through Billy Bob’s Texas and the Texas Country Music Association. VIP wristbands are available exclusively through TCMA.
