
SAN ANTONIO, Texas — The next generation of Tejano entertainers will take center stage as the Tejanitos Got Talent Competition brings an afternoon of music, inspiration, and family fun to Woodlawn Pointe Community Center on Sunday, July 19, 2026.
Beginning at 4 p.m., talented young performers from across the community will showcase their abilities before a panel of respected Tejano entertainers during a celebration designed to encourage and inspire future stars.
Organizers have officially announced the eight finalists who will compete for the grand prize:
- Hailey Grace Ochoa
- Landon Alan
- Virginia “Nina” Cantu
- Noelani Vasquez
- Julian Mateo Rodriguez
- Michael Hernandez Jr.
- Serene E. Guerrero
- Little Comic
Each finalist will take the stage to perform before a live audience and an all-star panel of celebrity judges featuring Shelly Lares, Patsy Torres, Rev Ray, and Mousie Cervantes, who will help select the winner while encouraging each young performer.
The event offers more than just bragging rights.
The winning performer will receive an unforgettable prize package, including:
- A VIP red carpet experience for the winner and their parents at the Inaugural Legacy Show on August 1.
- An opportunity to perform live on stage during a special tribute honoring Tejano music legend Little Joe.
In addition to the competition, attendees will have the opportunity to meet Tejano icon Little Joe and enjoy special live performances by Ricky Ray, Ruby Belén, and additional guest artists, making the afternoon a celebration of both established legends and rising young talent.
Organizers invite families, friends, and Tejano music fans to come out and support these outstanding young finalists as they pursue their dreams while celebrating the future of Tejano music.
This community event is open to the public and promises an afternoon filled with music, inspiration, and unforgettable memories as San Antonio cheers on its newest generation of Tejano stars.
