Latin Christian artist and former member of Los Palominos Johnny Arreola is stepping back into the spotlight with purpose and passion, unveiling his highly anticipated new single, “Enséñame.” The inspiring track serves as the lead single from his forthcoming studio album, expected to arrive in summer 2026.
Rooted in faith and personal testimony, “Enséñame” delivers a message of renewal, surrender, and spiritual growth. The song blends timeless Latin influences with a deeply reflective core, offering listeners a heartfelt invitation to reconnect with God—especially in moments of struggle.
Co-written by Arreola and Florida-based pastor and songwriter Mario David Jainz, the track was born from an unexpected and meaningful encounter. During an interview with Tejano Nation Radio host Romeo, Arreola shared the story behind the song’s creation, recalling a chance meeting with Jainz in his hometown of Uvalde, Texas.
What began as a casual dinner quickly turned into a creative session. Jainz introduced a melody he had been developing, which Arreola described as having a nostalgic, 1950s-inspired feel. Sitting down at the piano, the two began shaping the idea into something more complete.
“Within about 30 minutes, we had the song,” Arreola said. “We didn’t think much of it at the time—but later, when I needed one more song for the album, I found it on my phone and realized how special it was.”
The result is “Enséñame,” a simple yet powerful prayer set to music. The song speaks directly to those seeking guidance, especially individuals who feel lost or disconnected from their faith.
“It’s about hitting rock bottom and asking God, ‘Show me what love is. Teach me how to live like You,’” Arreola explained. “The message is simple—just ask. God is always there.”

For Arreola, the single reflects not only his artistry but also his spiritual journey. Once known for helping shape the sound of Los Palominos, the Grammy-winning Tejano group he co-founded with his brothers, he now dedicates his music to ministry and spreading a message of faith.
Still, fans of the iconic band may have reason to be excited. As Los Palominos prepare to celebrate their 35th anniversary in 2026, Arreola acknowledged the possibility of a reunion—under one condition.
“I believe a reunion is inevitable,” he said. “But for me, it would have to align with my purpose. I’d join them on stage if I could share my message—maybe perform one of my songs and speak about what I’m doing now.”
While his path has evolved, Arreola remains deeply connected to his roots and family legacy. His journey—from teaching his brothers how to play instruments to building one of Tejano’s most beloved groups—continues to shape his perspective today.
With “Enséñame,” Arreola invites listeners into a new season—one defined by faith, reflection, and hope. As anticipation builds for his upcoming album, the single marks a meaningful return for an artist whose voice now carries an even deeper purpose.
