Grupo Intocable has been nominated for Premio Lo Nuestro 2026 in the category Group or Duo of the Year – Música Mexicana, a recognition that crowns an extraordinary season for the iconic Tejano-Norteño ensemble and reaffirms their enduring leadership within regional Mexican music.
The nomination arrives during one of the most significant chapters in the band’s storied career. Their Antología Tour 2025 has become a nationwide triumph, bringing Intocable’s signature sound to major markets including Illinois, California, Virginia, and New Jersey. Numerous dates have been completely sold out, underscoring the group’s multigenerational appeal and unmatched connection with fans across the United States.
The 38th Annual Premio Lo Nuestro Awards will be held on Thursday, February 19, 2026, at the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida, and will air live on Univision. Fans can support Intocable by casting votes at PremioLoNuestro.com.
On the charts, Intocable continues to make history. The band recently captured their 21st No. 1 on Billboard’s Regional Mexican Airplay chart with the hit single “Me Gusta Mi Vida,” placing them among the most successful acts ever on the tally. The milestone further cements the group’s reputation for delivering music that resonates deeply with audiences while evolving with the times.
Adding to the accolades, it was announced that Intocable will receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame as part of the Class of 2026—a landmark honor recognizing more than three decades of cultural impact and musical excellence.
Beyond the stage, the group remains committed to giving back. During their U.S. tour, Intocable launched a charitable initiative pledging $1 from every ticket sold to the Latin GRAMMY Cultural Foundation, supporting music education for future generations. Frontman Ricky Muñoz also expanded the band’s presence outside music after being named an Honorary Official at the NASCAR Chicago Street Race, reflecting Intocable’s influence across diverse audiences.
From sold-out arenas to historic industry honors, Grupo Intocable continues to define what longevity and relevance look like in regional Mexican music. Their Premio Lo Nuestro nomination is not only a celebration of a remarkable year, but a testament to a legacy still being written.
