Tejano legend Jay Perez has officially released his second single and title track, “Le Seguiremos,” to Tejano radio — marking another exciting chapter in his storied career. The new single arrives just days after Perez extended his recording agreement with the iconic Freddie Records, a partnership that has spanned over a decade.
In a video message shared on social media, “The Voice” announced the surprise release while encouraging fans to call their local radio stations and request the song.
“A couple of weeks ago, I shot a little video reminding everybody about what’s coming,” Perez shared. “We had a surprise for you — actually, we were working on something, and it’s finally here. All the radio stations will be playing our second single entitled ‘Le Seguiremos’ under Freddie Records. So I want everybody to call your local radio stations, request it, and stay tuned — we’ve got a brand new video for it coming out in about two weeks.”
Perez also revealed that his highly-anticipated new album, also titled Le Seguiremos, will be released “either before Thanksgiving or a little after,” continuing his long-standing collaboration with Freddie Records.
The label expressed its excitement about the renewed partnership in a statement:
“We’re extremely honored to work with such a singular and iconic talent. Jay has been a part of the Freddie Records family of artists since 2012, and we look forward to continuing our relationship with him into the future. We thank all of Jay’s fans for your continued support.”
With over three decades of captivating audiences through his soulful voice and magnetic stage presence, Jay Perez remains one of Tejano music’s most celebrated figures. From his early days performing with Latin Breed and David Lee Garza y Los Musicales to his solo success with classics like Steel Rain, Perez has become a cornerstone of the genre.
The multi-award-winning artist, who earned Song of the Year and Male Vocalist of the Year honors at the 2024 Tejano Music Awards, continues to inspire fans with his passion, consistency, and unmistakable sound.
As anticipation builds for the full album and upcoming video, one thing is certain — Jay Perez isn’t slowing down. As the title suggests, Le Seguiremos — we’ll keep going. The track is expected on streaming platforms soon.
