Just in time for spooky season, Detroit’s own Cresencio has unleashed a musical spell with his latest single, “Cumbia De La Bruja.” The multi-instrumentalist, singer, and songwriter—known for fusing heartfelt lyrics with powerful rhythms—delivers a track that’s as hypnotic as its title suggests.
With the genius production of long-time friend and collaborator Chris “Cass” Strunk, “Cumbia De La Bruja” is both a fresh take on Tejano music and a nod to its deep roots. The track was originally composed and performed by Strunk, who then sent it to Cresencio to craft the lyrics. What emerged is a bewitching tale of a woman whose confidence, seduction, and power captivate every sense—while the man she enchants willingly surrenders to her spell.

“This song has that haunting energy that just pulls you in,” Cresencio shares. “It’s sexy, it’s mysterious, and it’s pure cumbia with a little twist—maybe a few shots of tequila, too.”
Drawing from a melting pot of influences—Fusion, Reggae, Heavy Metal, Motown, and Tejano—Cresencio and Cass are shaping a sound uniquely their own, proudly representing the Midwest “al estilo Detroit.” Their music is crafted to make you feel, think, and move, with “Cumbia De La Bruja” serving as the perfect example of that vision.

Cresencio is currently working on a full-length album of original music under Cass Productions, set for release in 2026. If “Cumbia De La Bruja” is any indication, fans can expect a project full of emotion, energy, and fearless creativity.
Stay tuned—this is just the beginning of Cresencio’s enchanting musical journey.
