
The highly anticipated 2nd Annual Pura Vida Awards will take place on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at the stunning Rosenberg Skyroom on the campus of the University of the Incarnate Word (UIW) in San Antonio, Texas. This dazzling Texas-style formal affair promises an unforgettable evening of red carpet arrivals, live entertainment, food, drinks, dancing, and an epic after-party celebrating the best in Texas and Latin music culture.
More than just an awards show, the Pura Vida Awards are a bold celebration of the diversity, creativity, and excellencewithin the performing arts community. From Tejano to Country and beyond, the event honors the artists, creators, and innovators who made waves in 2024.
Tejano rising star Amanda Solis leads all nominees with five nominations, including Female Artist of the Year, New Artist of the Year, Album of the Year for her acclaimed debut Space Vaquera, along with Single of the Year and Video of the Year.
Tejano band Cielo Azul, U.S. Marine veteran-turned-Tejano artist Domingo Elias 3Zero, and rising Country singer-songwriter Richie Bustillo each earned four nominations.
Three nominations went to Tejano icon Stefani Montiel and veteran performer Stevie D, while multiple two-time nominees include Jay Perez, Elida Reyna Y Avante, Lucky Joe, Papushi, JR Reyna Y Eligido, Mica Rivas, Mario Moreno, and Ranch Road Band.

The Pura Vida Awards aims to uplift emerging talent while honoring established stars who continue to shape the musical and cultural fabric of Texas. Whether walking the red carpet, cheering for your favorite artist, or hitting the dance floor at the after-party, the 2025 Pura Vida Awards promise to be a night to remember.
