Bianca Ruiz, the newest rising star in Tejano music, has officially released the music video for her debut single, “Bailar Para Olvidar,” a rhythmic and emotionally charged track produced by award-winning hitmaker Gabriel Zavala.
The song marks a triumphant return for Bianca, who stepped away from the spotlight to raise a family and build a successful career as an Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner. Now, she’s back—and bolder than ever.
That dream began early for the Houston native, who discovered her passion for singing at just 10 years old. By 2002, she was already performing at Fan Fair and earned a nomination for Female Rising Star at the Tejano Music Awards. At 15, she formed her first band, Sangre Latina, making waves across Houston’s Tejano venues.
After years away from music, Bianca reemerged in 2023 with a standout performance at Tejano SuperJam, sharing the stage with icons like Jay Perez, Ram Herrera, Bobby Pulido, and Michael Salgado. She has also performed alongside Jesse Turner of Grupo Siggno—further solidifying her place among Tejano’s elite.
Zavala, who wrote, produced, and mixed the track, explained, “This song talks about moving on after heartbreak using dancing and singing as a way to escape the negative vibes of a breakup. BAILAR PARA OLVIDAR!”
Directed by Squrilla Montana, CEO and Founder of Houston-based Grade A Media Productions, the video captures Bianca dancing away heartbreak with vibrant energy and undeniable stage presence.
