SAN ANTONIO, TX — Ram Herrera, the legendary voice of Tejano music, is no longer the “Most Wanted Man.” The iconic singer officially became the “Most Wanted Husband” on Friday, June 20, 2025, when he married his fiancée Liz Estrada in a beautiful ceremony and unforgettable reception in San Antonio, Texas.
The wedding was the culmination of a heartwarming love story that captured the hearts of fans across the Tejano music world. Just months ago, on February 15, 2025, Herrera surprised Estrada when he proposed live on stage during his performance in Pasadena, Texas. Dropping to one knee under the spotlight, the Tejano star asked for Liz’s hand in marriage in a moment that will be remembered by fans and loved ones alike.
The bride looked absolutely radiant in a stunning gown fit for royalty. Her long, voluminous ivory dress featured a sweeping train and intricate gold embellishments, creating a regal, queen-like presence as she walked down the aisle.

Family, friends, and Tejano music royalty gathered to celebrate the couple’s union. The reception was filled with memorable moments, including a heartfelt duet between Ram and his longtime friend Jay Perez. Fellow Tejano stars Stefani Montiel, Gabriel Zavala, and many more joined in the festivities, making the night truly magical. One of the evening’s highlights was Ram’s romantic serenade of his new bride, as he delivered a touching performance of “Lady,” the timeless classic by the late Kenny Rogers.
Ram Herrera’s musical journey spans over four decades, cementing his place as a pillar of Tejano music. He first rose to fame in the early 1980s as a vocalist for David Lee Garza y Los Musicales. Herrera’s smooth voice and undeniable stage presence quickly made him a standout, leading him to form his own band, Ramiro Herrera y Montana. His success soared when he signed with Sony Music and released his groundbreaking solo debut, Most Wanted Man, in 1986 and became a Tejano classic. His third album, The Outlaw (1989), further solidified his status as one of the genre’s leading artists and launched his band, The Outlaws.
Tejano Nation extends its warmest congratulations to Ram Herrera and Liz Estrada as they begin this exciting new chapter together. ¡Felicidades a los nuevos esposos!
