
SAN ANTONIO, TX — Tejano TV personality and former radio host Nino Brown is stepping into the spotlight on the big screen with his role in the upcoming independent drama film Silk Shadows, premiering Tuesday, May 7, with a private screening at Brooks City Base Cinemas in San Antonio.
Brown, best known as the charismatic host of On The Porch with Nino Brown on Valavision TV, announced the project with heartfelt excitement on social media. “Hey everyone, so, I am happy and proud to finally announce a project that I’ve been working on, has now finally come to fruition,” he shared. “I just wanted to humbly share something that means a lot to me.”

Directed and written by Collin Bressler, Silk Shadows promises a gripping narrative and also stars actress Judy Lee. Brown describes the project as a “labor of love” and extended a warm invitation to supporters and fans: “It wouldn’t feel right not to invite the people who’ve supported me along the way. I’m truly grateful for each of you, and I’d be honored if you could join me for this special night.”
The private premiere screening will take place at Brooks City Base Cinemas, located at 2623 SE Military Dr., San Antonio. Tickets are available for purchase at Eventbrite.com.
