San Antonio’s beloved celebration, Fiesta, kicks off Thursday, April 24, bringing with it the color, culture, and culinary delights that locals and visitors look forward to all year long. And let’s be honest—it just wouldn’t be Fiesta without the iconic chicken on a stick. This year, Chick-fil-A is joining in on the fun with its own twist on the fan-favorite Fiesta food.
For the first time, two Chick-fil-A locations in San Antonio are offering a limited-time Chicken on a Stick starting on opening day of Fiesta through Saturday, May 3. Guests can grab this festive treat at Chick-fil-A Seguin Road (7010 FM 78) and the Chick-fil-A at 2203 Rigsby Road near Loop 410.
Chick-fil-A’s version of the Fiesta classic features your choice of a regular or spicy filet, served with the beloved Chick-n-Minis and topped with a jalapeño for that signature South Texas kick. And to make the celebration even sweeter, each Chicken on a Stick comes with a special edition plush cow—perfect for Fiesta collectors or fans of the brand’s iconic mascot.
Quantities are limited, so Fiesta-goers are encouraged to swing by early and grab theirs while supplies last. Whether you’re headed to NIOSA, the Battle of Flowers Parade, or just vibing with friends at Hemisfair, this tasty twist on a tradition is one more reason to celebrate big this Fiesta season.
Viva Fiesta—and pass the jalapeños!
