Tejano music royalty has returned. Stefani Montiel, one of the most influential voices in the genre, makes her long-awaited comeback with the release of “Nada”, her first original single in two years. The bold new track dropped today (April 7), and is already turning heads with its undeniable energy and emotion.
“Nada” is a sophisticated Tejano/Pop cumbia that instantly demands attention—an irresistible rhythm destined to energize radio waves and ignite dance floors from the very first beat. With her signature sultry, sweet, and emotive vocals, Stefani Montiel delivers pure musical magic. The track is fresh, innovative, and unmistakably Stefani—blending passion and finesse in every note.
The powerhouse lineup on “Nada” includes the talents of Gabriel Zavala, Lilli Bella, Sasha Sullivan, and EZ Cin, whose fierce guitar adds edge and flavor to the already electric track.
Behind the scenes, multi-award-winning Producer and Engineer of the Year Gabriel Zavala brings the song to life with masterful production. His all-encompassing role in the song’s creation—producing, engineering, arranging, mixing, mastering, and performing on accordion, bass, drums, and background vocals—adds a richness and depth that fans have come to expect from his collaborations with Stefani.
The track was written by the dynamic trio of Gabriel Zavala, José Rosario González, and Stefani Montiel herself—who once again proves why she remains a pioneering force in Tejano music.
“Nada” represents more than just a new single—it’s a bold new chapter in Stefani Montiel’s storied career. A perfect balance of tradition and modern edge, it reaffirms her position at the forefront of Tejano music innovation.
Stefani said, “This song is so special to me, and I can’t wait for you all to experience it!”
