The Azteca Ranch Music family is stronger than ever, coming together to present an incredible rendition of the timeless classic “Is Anybody Goin’ To San Antone”. This track, produced by Stormy Cooper Media and Sundance Head, is a testament to the collaborative efforts of Sunny Sauceda, Vinny Tovar, Jack Mason, Jerry DeLeon & Southbound, and Kin Faux frontman Rico Gonzales.
The track delivers a perfect blend of traditional and contemporary country music, combining everyone’s talent, charisma, and personal touch to ensure an unforgettable musical experience. The upcoming music video, filmed in the city of San Antonio, features a special appearance by beloved comedian Steve Trevino.
In a conversation with Tejano Nation Radio host Romeo, Sunny Sauceda spoke about the collaboration. He shared, “The A&R for Azteca is Carlos Alvarez. He has been my buddy for 30 years and we were kind of brainstorming on things, ideas of what we should do. I suggested we do a label collab, just something that kind of represents what we are, what we’re doing, you know, it’s a joint effort.”
Sunny further explained the choice of the song, “The Texas Tornadoes did it and made it really hip. And I told Carlos, this song is so cool. I forgot how much fun it was to play. That may be one that we could do that everybody knows, it’d be a fun song, a collab. And you know, get people going. It’s kind of a revamped version of the Texas Tornados, but at the same time, we’re paying homage to them and then helping push this movement along with the Country Latino thing going on.”
The team got together with Stormy Cooper Media in Houston and knocked it out of the park. The new video was shot about a week ago, with Steve Trevino directing the whole thing. Sunny expressed his excitement, “It’s a real fun song. So we’re excited about it. We just can’t wait for people to hear it. It’s already getting a lot of buzz and we can’t wait to people see the visuals because the visuals are going to really enhance the listening experience.”
Stay tuned and don’t miss out on this must-see video, which will premiere soon. The Azteca Ranch family is excited for this collaboration. As Sunny puts it, “We’re really excited about it. We’re really stoked and we can’t wait for people to hear it and let us know what they think.”
