Selena, the Queen of Tejano music, continues to make waves in the music industry even decades after her untimely passing. Her iconic album, Amor Prohibido, has just reached an incredible milestone – it’s been certified RIAA 41x Latin Platinum, according to the official Selena X account.
This achievement places Amor Prohibido as the second-highest certified Latin album by a female singer, standing alongside RIAA’s first-highest Latin album, also by Selena — Dreaming of You. This is a testament to Selena’s enduring legacy and the timeless appeal of her music.
