The Tejano Music Recording Academy will honor Bobby Pulido with the ICON award at the fourth annual Premios Tejano Mundial 2024. The ICON award is presented to a musical artist who has made an impact on Tejano music through their work.
Pulido has been in the music industry for 30 years. He is credited with becoming one of the most influential Tejano artists with Mexican American teenagers and earning the title of “Teen Idol” during the 1990s. His debut album, Desvelado, was released in 1996 by EMI Latin and was certified platinum by the RIAA after selling over 100,000 units. Today, Pulido continues to record music both as a solo artist and collaborator with other artist across different music genres.
The singer-songwriter is also an actor. He made his acting debut in 2003 as the lead actor in the made-for-television film, “La Decada Furiosa.” He also appeared in the telenovelas, “Fuego en La Sangre” and” Qué pobres tan ricos.”
La Cuarta Entrega de los Premios Tejano Mundial 2024 is set for Thursday February 8, 2024, at 7 pm at the San Antonio Shrine Auditorium located at 901 N Loop 1604 Acc Rd, San Antonio, Texas. The Red Carpet will commence at 5 pm.

Members are eligible to vote in Tejano Mundial Industry categories (Voting members only), receive two (2) Premios Tejano Mundial VIP tickets and one (1) VIP event parking.
