Fans of conjunto music are in for a treat as AJ Castillo and Juan P. Moreno have released a new music video for their collaboration, “Te Recomiendo Esa Ingrata”. The track is a lively ranchera that features the signature accordion skills of Castillo and the bajo sexto sounds of Moreno, as well as their smooth vocals and harmonies.
The music video was filmed at Castillo’s new state-of-the-art production studio, Redwood Sound Studios, in San Marcos, Texas. The video shows the duo performing the song in a courtyard with a full band. The video also showcases the impressive facilities and equipment of Redwood Sound Studios, which Castillo opened earlier this year to offer high-quality recording and production services to artists of all genres.
“Te Recomiendo Esa Ingrata” is the lead single from Castillo’s upcoming EP, “Rolas Pa’Bailar Y Pistear”, scheduled for release by the end of 2023. The EP will feature five accordion-driven rancheras and a cumbia. The EP will be the Latin Grammy winner’s first release since his self-titled fifth studio album in 2018 and “Live From Lubbock, TX” concert album in 2020.
Castillo and Moreno are both acclaimed musicians who have been making waves in the Tejano music scene for years. Castillo is known for his innovative and versatile style that blends traditional cumbia with pop, R&B, hip-hop, and other influences. Moreno is known for his soulful voice and charismatic presence over a legendary career. Together, they have created a catchy and memorable song that will surely make fans dance and sing along.
