Roel Martinez is back with a new single, “Otra Dia Mas”, a song that he discovered in the archives of Grupo Rodeo, the legendary Tejano group that he was part of in the early 2000s. The song was written by Frank “Panchito” Villarreal, a founding member and leader of Grupo Rodeo.
“Otra Dia Mas” was produced by Miguel Hernandez, who has worked with many Tejano stars. The song is about longing for a lost love and hoping for another day to see her again. Martinez delivers a heartfelt vocal performance that showcases his versatility and range. The ranchera is a perfect dance floor filler.
“Otra Dia Mas” is the third single released from Martinez’s upcoming album, which is expected to be released in 2024. The album will feature a mix of original songs and covers of classic Tejano hits, as well as collaborations with other artists.
Martinez is one of the most respected and talented singers in the Tejano music scene. He joined Grupo Rodeo in 1998 but left the group due to health complications that prevented him from continuing as lead vocalist in 2006. He returned to music and released a solo album, “Sonador de Amor,” in 2019.
Martinez’s fans can look forward to hearing more of his music soon, as he plans to release more singles and videos from his upcoming album. He is also working on some projects with other artists.
“Otra Dia Mas” is available now on all digital platforms.
