David Olivarez, also known as “El Tejano Soñador”, has released his new single and music video “Sigo Soñando”, a sequel to his 1995 smash hit “El Soñador”. The song was written by Fernando Silva, who also penned the original, and produced by Manuel Herrera Maldonado.
“Sigo Soñando” tells the story of the dreamer who never gave up on his love, even after many years of separation. The song is a romantic cumbia with a catchy chorus and a nostalgic vibe. The music video, directed by Waldo Reyes, features Olivarez as a watchmaker who reminisces about his past love and decides to look for her again.
The song is part of Olivarez’s upcoming album, which will include more new songs and music videos. Olivarez has been recording in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, and is excited to share his new music with his fans.
Olivarez was inducted into the Tejano ROOTS Hall of Fame in January 2023, in recognition of his long and successful career in the Tejano music industry. He is best known for his hits such as “El Soñador”, “Peso Pluma”, “Linda Chaparrita”, and “Te Amo”.
