
San Antonio Tejano station KLM0 98.9 & 92.1 FM has announced that Nino Brown will be the new morning host beginning Tuesday, September 5.
Brown is a well-known radio personality in Texas, having worked at Tejano KXTN 107.5 and Top 40 KTFM in San Antonio, and Rhythmic Top 40 KQBT in Austin while spending time as a club DJ.
He has also worked with many San Antonio sports franchises including Spurs basketball, Rampage hockey, Missions baseball, and Talons arena football.
Brown’s career has been marked by his versatility and ability to connect with audiences. He has worked in a variety of roles, from sports to music, and has always been able to bring his unique perspective to the table. Most recently, he spent five seasons with the Harlem Globetrotters before joining the KLMO morning show.
Brown is excited to join KLMO-FM and is looking forward to bringing his energy and enthusiasm to the morning show. He is committed to providing listeners with the best possible experience and hopes to make a positive impact on the community.
Brown commented, “I’m very excited to take on this new opportunity here at KLMO San Antonio. I’m a true Tejano at heart and look forward to giving back and embracing my community and to the culture, as well as La Onda Tejana.”
Lopez Broadcasting launched KLMO in April 2019 playing today’s biggest Tejano hits with a splash of classic songs and supporting emerging Tejano talent with new music. Lopez Broadcasting currently owns and operates radio stations and TV stations throughout South Texas. The company is community-oriented, helping those in need with food drives and more neighborhood events.
