
Fans of Tejano music are in for a treat as two of the genre’s most iconic artists, Jay Perez and David Lee Garza, join forces for a new single, “Vino Maldito”. The song was written by music legend and six-time Latin Grammy winner Freddie Martinez.
“Vino Maldito” showcases the powerful vocals of Jay Perez, who is known as “The Voice” for his soulful and versatile style, and the accordion mastery of David Lee Garza, who is widely regarded as one of the best Tejano musicians of all time.
Freddie Records shared a sneak peek of the cover art for “Vino Maldito” on their Twitter account, generating excitement and anticipation among Tejano fans.
“Vino Maldito” is a tribute to the legacy of Freddie Martinez, who has been a pioneer and innovator in Tejano music for over 50 years. Martinez has produced and written songs for many Tejano legends, such as Little Joe y la Familia, Ramon Ayala, Ruben Ramos, and many more.
