La Machy musician, singer, songwriter, and founder of the Grammy-nominated international cumbia band La Conquista, is back and ready to share her new original single as a solo artist.
The spicy cumbia, “Tu Novia,” was produced and written by Machy, SmokeBeatz, and 2 Swift.
“The guys send me the idea with a piece of music, they named it ‘Novia’ and I started making the melody and I liked the title that they put to the piece of music,” Machy tells Tejano Nation. “So I wrote the song out of that word, novia. I started writing the chorus and of course, I titled it ‘Tu Novia’.”
She added, “It’s a story about a guy that all the girls want this guy and this girl is like, ‘I’m going to be the wife, I’m going to be the girlfriend. I’m going to be the one to have this guy and the other girls are going to be wishing that they have that man. So it’s kind of like a spicy type of song.”
La Machy plans to add an amazing music video for “Tu Novia”, where she portrays both the good bride and the toxic bride.
The Grammy-nominated artist is ready to hit the stage with her own band this summer. For booking of La Machy contact Machy Music Entertainment at (361) 694-2520.
“Tu Novia” from La Machy is available on all digital music platforms.
