Magali Delarosa premiered the official music video for “Muero Por Tu Amor,” on Monday (May 1.) It’s the second single released from her fifth studio album, Mujer Mexicana, released last week.
Video director Baldemar Garcia of 1st Class Cinema brings beautiful Mexican culture to life in this cinematic adaptation of love and passion.
“In my true style I wanted to have like a novela of all videos,” Delarosa tells Tejano Nation of the video’s theme. “I wanted colors and Mexican tones and like Frida (Kahlo).”
The video was filmed throughout the Rio Grande Valley, including South Padre Island and The Pink Casa, an Airbnb in McAllen, that displays great hues and beautiful cultural furnishings throughout its space.
“I was so excited we filmed there and of course we had the crazy head piece and different colored sequenced outfits,” said Delarosa. “I’m happy it all came together.”
