David Olivarez premiered the official music video for his latest single “Déjame Sufrir” today (Jan. 13) on the singer’s official YouTube channel.
“Déjame Sufrir” is the lead single for Olivarez’s highly-anticipated new album. It was written by Olivarez, produced by Temis Cotera, and recorded in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, for Olivarez’s record label UMI Musik.
“Déjame Sufrir” is a song that Olivarez wrote after his 15-year marriage ended in a divorce.
“This song helped me a lot,” Olivarez tells Tejano Nation. “It was my way of going through the emotions so that I could heal and be myself and be able to smile again.”
Olivarez plans to release 4-5 new songs this year with new music videos and is currently working on his next single, “Sigo Sonando.”
