The career of Bobby Pulido has spanned almost 30 years since his debut on a duet with his legendary father, Roberto Pulido, for the classic song “Contigo” and the singer recently shared what he learned from his father, details on his latest hit “Para Que Baile Mi Pueblo,” and much more in an interview with The Bo Corona Show.
The singer and actor opened up about a few things in the interview on September 2, 2022, including a trait he learned from his father, a Tejano music legend.
“I learned a lot of things from my dad. Some good, some bad. You can learn from other people’s mistakes as well because we all make them,” Bobby told Bo Corona. “I would probably have to say humility. My dad has always had it real clear that in this business there’s ups and downs but in this industry, I’ve seen so many bands that were on top of the world and I’m not going to mention names but it’s just that little era of ‘Hey man, I’m untouchable,’ and my dad has always been the type to always stay humble and that’s a great trait to always keep you in that mindset.”
Bobby Pulido’s career includes many successful albums and classic hit songs and continues that sting of success with his latest release, a five-song EP, Para Que Baile Mi Pueblo, and the singer added the title track and his current hit song was originally recorded by Guardianes Del Amor almost 22 years ago.
“The style they did was vallenato which is a Colombian style and that’s a far cry from what we do and I was like I could make that a cumbia,” he said.
