Isabel Marie Sanchez brings fresh cumbia vibes with ‘Ahora Que Ya Eres Feliz’

The award-winning singer mixes accordion and mariachi trumpet grooves with contemporary cumbia rhythms for a fresh sound.

Isabel Marie Sanchez dropped her new single this week featuring fresh cumbia vibes, it’s the latest single released from the award-winning singer’s new EP, Una Ilusión. “Ahora Que Ya Eres Feliz,” written by Latin Grammy-nominated songwriter, Salvador Aponte, includes accordion and mariachi trumpet grooves, mixed with contemporary cumbia rhythms giving Isabel Marie a fresh sound.

Isabel Marie commented, “Excited to share new music with my Tejano fans that have been so supportive all these years, and already working on new music to continue releasing for the rest of the year, plus I have some news to share with my Tejano fans on a cool and unique live performance at a major event that I will announce real soon.”

The 19-year-old vocalist will be part of the Vegas Tejano Takeover 2022 at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, for the FanFest Expo as part of a Mariachi-Tejano showcase on Friday, July 8, 2022.

Isabel Marie co-produced some songs on her six-track EP, Una Ilusión, released in May.

“I did have a little hand in it, told them some of my ideas as well,” she said. “It’s really exciting growing as an artist and growing my creativity it’s really fun. I’m writing so the new things we’re going to be coming out with are really exciting.”
