Cristela Alonzo is keeping things classy. The comedian is back with her second comedy special for Netflix, Middle Classy, which premieres globally on June 28.
In the follow-up to her 2016 comedy special, Lower Classy, Alonzo returns with more money and a smile big enough to show off her hard-earned new teeth, Cristela is living the American Dream. She hilariously shares the joys of aging in her forties, her first ever experience with a gyno, and the importance of family.
The special is directed by Page Hurwitz, who co-produced alongside Wanda Sykes for Push It Productions. Alonzo co-produced the special as well.
Aside from her Netflix specials, Alonzo is also the first Latina to create, write, produce and star in a network sitcom, with her eponymously titled ABC series, Cristela, which aired from 2014–2015.
