Michael Salgado shared details on upcoming new music, his current country EP, and much more with Tejano Nation contributor LilyMarie at Tejano Explosion 2022 in San Antonio, Texas on April 8.

The two-time Latin GRAMMY winner announced he’s working on a mariachi EP with songs dedicated to late music legend Vicente Fernandez to follow up his successful crossover Country album, Blame It On The Beer, which has garnered almost 4 million streams on Spotify that includes the latest hit single “She Thinks My Name Is Whiskey.” “El Zurdo de Oro” also recorded a live album of his performance at Tejano Explosion.
