The medley features “Corazón Maldito” and “Que Se Lleve Lo Que Quiera”, both songs written by legendary composer Humberto “Beto” Ramón.
Esmeralda G highlights her vocal strength and unique style but above all showcases, an innovative sound, and arrangements created by producer Fabián Elizondo of Ozono Music Production.
Esmeralda G is an emerging talent from San Nicolás de Los Garza, Nuevo León, Mexico, aspiring to conquer the world of the Tejano music industry. Influenced by Laura Canales at an early age, Esmeralda G aspires to demonstrate that Tejano music can also be performed by Mexicans with a musical ear at heart and conquer the Tejano music genre internationally.
Canales was a pioneer and trendsetter during the early days of Tejano music. She died of complications following surgery at the age of 50 on April 16, 2005, in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was the first massively popular female singer in the macho world of Tejano music, following the pioneering careers of Chelo Silva and Lydia Mendoza.
