Lucky Joe Delivers New Single ‘No, No’ and Teases Music Video

Lucky Joe is turning heartbreak into a comeback anthem.

The Tejano/Norteño star has released his latest single, “No, No,” through Freddie Records, delivering an upbeat ranchera aimed at anyone who has experienced heartbreak, betrayal or the end of a relationship.

During an interview with Tejano Nation Radio host Romeo, Lucky Joe opened up about the inspiration behind the new song, his approach to promoting the release and what fans can expect from the upcoming official music video.

An Anthem for Those in “Breakup Mode”

Written by Lucky Joe, “No, No” is an upbeat ranchera that addresses the emotions surrounding heartbreak and moving forward.

Lucky Joe believes the song can connect with anyone who has gone through a difficult breakup, been cheated on or experienced a relationship that left them feeling less than they deserved.

“It relates to a lot of people who’ve gone through either heartbreak or love loss,” Lucky Joe explained. “This is for everyone who is in breakup mode. I think a lot of people can identify with it and relate to it.”

But rather than simply dwelling on heartbreak, “No, No” is about moving on and becoming stronger. Lucky Joe describes the song as a comeback—an attitude of refusing to return to a relationship that caused pain and choosing instead to grow from the experience.

“If they’ve ever been cheated on or may feel less of and it’s kind of like basically a comeback,” he said.

The message ties into the idea behind his previous song “Me Voy A Superar,” with Lucky Joe describing the new release as a declaration of personal improvement and strength.

“I’m going to do better. I’m never going to go back to you.”

For Lucky Joe, that message makes “No, No” more than a breakup song.

“It’s basically like an anthem song for all those who are going through or have gone through a bad breakup or a bad situation in a relationship,” he told Tejano Nation Radio.

Lucky Joe Keeps Working on New Music

While promoting “No, No,” Lucky Joe also revealed that he is already looking ahead.

The artist says he is currently working in the studio on a new album with Freddie Records, recording new material while trying to remain competitive in an increasingly crowded music landscape.

“We’re working on the new album, coming up with new material, trying to keep relevant and stay trending with what everybody else is doing,” he said.

Lucky Joe acknowledged the challenges artists face today as social media continues to change the way music is released and promoted. With emerging artists releasing music at a rapid pace, he says the goal is to stay ahead of the game while continuing to develop new material.

“We have to stay ahead of the game and try to keep up with all these younger cats,” he said.

For now, the focus remains on “No, No” and building momentum for the next chapter of his career.

Lucky Joe revealed the official music video premieres Friday at 6:30 p.m. on Freddie Records TV, giving fans a chance to see a different side of the artist.

A Storyline Music Video

Lucky Joe says the “No, No” video features an actual storyline centered around infidelity and heartbreak. For the project, he hired three actors to portray the cheating couple and the man who discovers what is happening.

“The video is basically what the song says,” Lucky Joe explained.“I’m not used to doing a storyline video, It’s been a while since I’ve done a storyline video.”

A Different Look for Lucky Joe

The video also introduces fans to a different visual side of Lucky Joe. The singer says he and his band members dressed differently for the project, incorporating stylish jackets and a Norteño-inspired look to complement the song.

“We also came out dressed very differently, in nice jackets and a little Norteño vibe going there,” Lucky Joe told Romeo.

The combination of the storyline, visual presentation and upbeat ranchera sound gives “No, No” a different feel from some of Lucky Joe’s previous releases.

“It’s different, man, from the other stuff that I’ve done,” he said.

Now, Lucky Joe is hoping fans connect not only with the song but with the story being told through the video.

“Hopefully the people will get to enjoy the storyline as well,” he said.
