DJ Kane hospitalized after multi-vehicle accident on Texas highway

The Latin Grammy-winning singer and his wife were involved in a multiple vehicle accident on the way to Corpus Christi, Texas on Thursday night.

DJ Kane is in the hospital after the internationally-recognized singer was involved in a multi-car accident on a Texas highway on the way to Corpus Christi, Texas on Thursday night (Dec. 2).

The singer’s wife, Ginger Cano, shared a video of the aftermath of the accident on social media with a caption that said, “We just go in a really bad car accident. We were on our way to Corpus Christi and a tow truck hit us. Our red van when rolling down into the ditch. I’m ok, just in severe pain but my husband is on the way to the hospital.”

She did not mention the severity of his injury.

DJ Kane rose to fame as the original lead vocalist of Latin Grammy-winning group Kumbia Kings from 1999-2003, and a member of Kumbia All-Starz from 2008-2010. He launched a successful solo career releasing multiple hit albums. He currently continues to tour Latin America and the United States with Cruz Martinez-led Kumbia Kings.
