El Plan won Best Tejano Album at the 22nd annual Latin Grammy Awards for their album Pa’ La Pista Y Pa’l Pisto, Vol. 2. The announcement was made during a pre-show Latin Grammy Premiere ceremony on Thursday afternoon in Las Vegas, Nevada.
This is the first Latin Grammy win for the group with Tejano stylings from Monterrey, Mexico, and the third consecutive nomination for El Plan in the Best Tejano Album category since 2019. The group’s previous albums Siete and Pa’ La Pista Y Pa’l Pisto, Vol. 1 were nominated in 2019 and 2020, respectively.
Other nominees for Best Tejano Album included Back On Track from Ram Herrera, Historico from La Fiebre, Incomparable from Solido, and Un Beso Es Sifuente from Vilax.
