Gary Hobbs announced this week that the Tejano music icon plans to launch a new podcast on August 31. The Hanging with Gary Podcast will air exclusively on the crooner’s official website, GaryHobbs.com.
The podcast will be hosted by the veteran Tejano singer along with co-host Johnny Davila, who will also produce the podcast.
“Johnny kept telling me about doing podcasts and doing shows and I think there’s some fun things coming soon to GaryHobbs.com,” Hobbs tells Tejano Nation. “We’re going to start a podcast. It’s really about Gary Hobbs and maybe the feel of Tejano music. There’s just so many things that never come out of us, we’re very private in the things that we do, things that we say, and we’re going to try to start to do those podcasts firsts then go to put them on video too.”
The podcast will give fans an all-access look behind the scenes of the award-winning singer, who has entertained fans for almost four decades with his countless hit songs and albums since the beginning of his music career in 1983.
Fans can email questions to podcast@GaryHobbs.com. One question per email will be allowed.
“Ask a question, any question. We will TRY to answer your question,” said a note on the Gary Hobbs Official Facebook page.
Hobbs plans to release a new podcast episode weekly beginning August 31.
