
The annual Lordsburg Tejano Fiesta was postponed by organizers on Monday (Aug 23) over rising COVID-19 concerns in Hidalgo County, New Mexico.
The announcement was made in a post on the official Facebook page for the event that said: “Due to rise in COVID-19 cases in Hidalgo County, Lordsburg Tejano Fiesta will be postponed for a later date. Stay safe!”
The Labor Day weekend event, scheduled for September 4-5, at North Park in Lordsburg, New Mexico, will be rescheduled at a date to be determined. Scheduled performers included Bobby Pulido, Michael Salgado, Stevie D, Rick Fuentes & The Brown Express, and more. The event was canceled in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
