Selena fans make some space in your collection to add more Selena collectibles. After a leaked list surfaced online last week by Funko fanatics that the late bicultural icon would be part of the 2021 Funko Pop! lineup, the company confirmed the news on Tuesday.
“We are honored to be able to confirm that Funko is celebrating the life and legacy of Selena through our Pop! products. This historic line pays homage to this month’s Billboard’s Greatest of All Time Female Latin Artist and is a tangible way for her millions of global fans to display their affinity for Selena,” Funko said in a statement.
The company that creates unique pop culture collectibles didn’t give details on the design of the figures or when the line would be released.
Funko is partnering with Selena’s family for the collectibles and Selena’s sister, Suzette Quintanilla, said, “I am excited to partner with Funko on the upcoming release celebrating Selena’s ongoing legacy. The Funko Pop! products line honors some of the most influential musicians and I am humbled to have Selena be part of this historic line showcasing her place in pop culture.”
