CHR Records announced the signing of Conjunto great Boni Mauricio. Mauricio’s CHR Records debut release is set for early 2020.
“We are thrilled to have Boni join our incredible roster of artists,” said CHR Branding Officer Hilda Lamas. “He is a true entertainer and a one-of-a-kind talent.”
Boni Mauricio III began entertaining audiences at a young age in June 1974, performing as a drummer alongside his father Bonifacio Mauricio Jr.
In 2001, Boni did his first solo recordings on the Hacienda Records label with Tejano and Conjunto Hall of Famer and Hacienda Records co-founder, Rick Garcia.
“I’ve had the honor of producing every one of Boni’s solo albums since day one,” said Garcia, CHR President and CEO. “I love the artists that I work with. I have so much respect for their musical talents and abilities. I am blessed to be able to continue to be a part of Boni’s musical journey.”.
