After dropping a teaser last week, Destiny Navaira officially released the lead single, “Inolvidable,” from her highly-anticipated solo debut album on Friday.
The lead vocalist for Grupo Remedio is ready to make her own mark in the music industry as a solo artist while continuing the musical legacy of her family, she’s the daughter of Raulito Navaira and niece of late Tejano icon Emilio Navaira.

“It’s a special thing, it really is and for me, it’s important that people know that I am Navaira and I want the legacy to continue,” she said in an interview on The Cruz Contol with AC Cruz Podcast. “But I also want the people to know, yes I’m Navaira but this album is me.”
The talented singer always wanted to do a solo project and believes the time is now for her solo album.
“Now that this is done, I thank God that I didn’t do it til now because I’ve become this musician and I’ve become this vocalist that I wasn’t before,” she said. “My influences have changed, my wants and my needs have changed and where I am in life has changed and it was the right time.”
