Javi Guerra impresses with new cumbia ‘Aquella Hermosa Estrella’ [AUDIO]

New vocalist Javi Guerra released the original cumbia, “Aquella Hermosa Estrella,” to be featured on his upcoming album in mid-September.

New vocalist Javi Guerra, who hails from the Rio Grande Valley, just released the original cumbia, “Aquella Hermosa Estrella,” to be featured on his upcoming album in mid-September.

Guerra’s strong voice impresses with its range and control as he navigates the quick lyrics and tempo of this contagious, danceable cumbia. The song was written by Miguel Ibarra Garza of Hidalgo, Texas. Guerra, who began singing as a child, describes the cumbia as “a blend of modern and classic Tejano.”

“I was influenced by Tejano artists from the 1970s, 80s and 90s as well as the many Tejano artists today,” Guerra said.

Guerra’s unique voice will capture listeners along with the song’s infectious beat.

“Music has always been my passion ever since I was growing up,” Guerra said. “I started writing songs at a very young age (then) I soon began arranging and producing my own music in the studio.”

Look forward to Guerra’s upcoming album and catch the latest single, “Aquella Hermosa Estrella.”

“I strongly feel all listeners will enjoy this cumbia because of its unique style along with a lot of love and dedication for everyone who hears and receives this cumbia,” Guerra said.
