Ram Herrera, David Farias, and Sunny Sauceda are the first performers announced for the 39th annual Tejano Music Awards and Dance in San Antonio on Nov. 16.
Tejano music’s biggest night, where fans can expect a spectacular show that promises many surprises, exciting musical collaborations, and the recognition of Tejano’s best and brightest stars, will take place at the Scottish Rite Auditorium. Comedian Raymond Orta was announced as host for the 2019 TMAs earlier this month. Tickets are on sale now at TejanoMusicAwards.com.
In 2019, the Texas Talent Musicians Association (TTMA) continues the tradition of providing only the best recording Tejano artists to the world. Thus gaining more international acceptance and growth in the Tejano Music Genre.
TTMA is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to promote professional excellence; a better understanding and greater appreciation for Tejano music; and to provide a public forum for songwriters, performers and musicians in order to recognize their artistic efforts and achievements through the annual Tejano Music Awards and related events. TTMA is based in San Antonio, Texas: “The Tejano Music Capital of the World.”
