Comedian Raymond Orta is the host of the 39th annual Tejano Music Awards, organizers announced on Monday (Aug. 12).
Known as the “Man With A Thousand Voices,” Orta has been entertaining since he first took the stage wielding a microphone as a third-grader participating in a talent show. Orta began pursuing a professional career in comedy at the age of 15 with a unique blend of Latino humor, impressions and stories of growing up in the barrio. He has appeared on NBC’s “Last Comic Standing” and is in the new movie “Margarita Man”.
The 39th annual Tejano Music Awards and Dance will take place at the Scottish Rite Auditorium in San Antonio, Texas on Saturday, November 16, 2019. More information at TejanoMusicAwards.com.
