Destiny Navaira has been teasing fans all summer about her upcoming solo project since the singer announced it via a promo video on social media in June.
Now the songstress shared another video this week with the caption “Are you ready?” as she was on day one of shooting 10 music videos!
The heiress to the Navaira musical family, she’s the daughter of Raulito Navaira and niece of late Tejano icon Emilio Navaira, spoke to Tejano Nation about her upcoming solo album, including working with her brother Rigo Navaira, producer Mike Aguilar, songwriter Juan Treviño and engineer Rudy Olivares.
“It’s just been a very beautiful process and something that we really dugged deep into what we love and what we wanted to share with people and how we wanted to come across with our music,” she said.
“We’re really excited about it,” she added. “It’s really to me and my brother, it’s our first kind of step into who we really are and I’ve been blessed to have such a team behind me and to have people put faith in me. We have a lot of things coming and I’m very excited for people to see it.”
Destiny’s team promises to have more “big hints” on her solo project soon. Tejano Nation will have more information as it becomes available.
