Tejano icon Shelly Lares recently announced her “Limited Edition Pride” collection of merchandise on her website, shellylares.online, and has said sales are doing “extremely well” and “better than I expected.”
Lares, who has been promoting her latest album, “Obra de Amor”, said the merchandise will run as long as fans show an interest and more shirt sizes are currently in the works.

“People, especially my fans, are so supportive of love,” Lares said. “I’m all about loving and being loved and positivity.”
Lares will be a featured performer at this year’s San Marcos Pride Festival on Saturday, Sept. 7, 2019.
Lares is thankful for both her fan base and fellow artists who have supported her “Pride” line.
“My fans have been supportive of my career and personal life because I’ve always believed in being who you are,” Lares said. “Life is meant to be lived to the fullest and happiest. My fellow Tejano artists and musicians have all been excited about my Pride merchandise, too.”
