It’s been a long time since we’ve received a new album from Bobby Pulido, but that will all change this year as the singer and actor announced he will release his first album in seven years.

Pulido shared details about his upcoming disc with Tejano Nation radio affiliate Fierro 107.5 HD2 in Dallas, Texas on Wednesday.

“I’m real excited to finally put out music,” Pulido told the Bo & Jon Show. “My thing has always been I don’t want to put out music just to put it out. I want to be sure when I put something it out it’s going to stick.”

Pulido has been entertaining fans with his music since his debut album Desvelado was released in 1995 and has still been performing his catalog of hits songs at performance across the U.S. and Mexico showcasing his longevity in Tejano music.

The long-awaited album’s lead single, “La Pregunta del Millón (The Million Dollar Question),” is scheduled to be released in June with an official music video. The full album, that is tentatively titled Hoy, is expected to be released before the end of the year and there will only be 5,000 physical CDs published with Pulido’s signature and numbered individually.

Pulido, who has also starred in many novelas, was asked if music or acting gives him the most joy. Find out what he had to say and listen to the full interview with Bobby Pulido below. Listen to the Bo & Jon Show at FierroHD.Radio.com.
