DJ Kane and Frankie J shared behind the scenes photos and videos from the official music video shoot for their collaboration, “Ven A Mi/Closer To Me,” on Tuesday night.

Tejano Nation first broke the news of the collaborations from the Latin music stars and former Kumbia Kings members, back in March when Frankie J gave Tejano Nation exclusive details.

“Now that we’re both on our solo journeys, we decided to get back together after almost 14 years,” said Frankie J. “We finally got together, it was his idea, he called me and, of course, I said yes.”

The duo have been working on two new songs for DJ Kane’s upcoming album.

“I can’t wait for you guys to hear it,” Frankie J added. “You guys are going to hear our voices together, not only in one song, but in two songs!”

The pair will release two versions of “Ven A Mi”, the original Spanish version and an English version, “Closer To Me.” No word yet on a release date for the single or music video, but Tejano Nation will have details as soon as they become available.
